With the push of a button a retractable awning is installed.  But support is sacrificed to accomplish this easy installation.  To make matters worse the first gust of wind and the retractable awning automatically rolls itself back up.  Retractable awnings were designed for the luxury motor home industry and that level of support is not needed and the wind sensing controls are fine.  But if you are a racer and you want to put our awning out when you get to a race and leave it out for an extended period of time.  These issues are cause for concern.

Enter the Retractable Arm Support System by STM Awnings. These supports are designed to be installed under an existing retractable awning.  One end attaches to your trailer and/or motor home the other end attaches to your retractable awning.  Our brackets are custom designed to attach in the same manner as the retractable arms are attached.  This means no drilling holes in your awning frame just, clamp our brackets into place.  In addition our brackets are designed to remain on the awning frame, yet allow for the awning to close fully when stored. Both our upper and lower truss bars are fully adjustable to meet the varied pitch angles.  Utilizing the same clear anodized all aluminum construction and stainless fasteners as our custom awning frames means no rust ever and a product that will look good and last.
